Dunkin’s Blueberry Cobbler Donut

Well deserved snack.

Well deserved snack.

So I’m a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Oreo Vanilla Bean Coolatta and then I saw they had this Blueberry Cobbler Donut coming out via Grub Grade.  Decided that today was the day to try one as a well deserved end of week treat.

Nothing fancy here.  The Oreo Coolatta is still yummy and so sweet that a small is plenty.  As for the donut?

It was pretty good.  I mean, it looks pretty fantastic, even for late afternoon/early evening.  Nice crumble on top that sort of stayed put.  A good dollop of tasty blueberry goo in the middle.  Typical fried doughy texture.  Etc.  It was good.  It turns out that I’ve changed my eating habits enough that this sort of sat in my stomach like a lump for a while, but it was tasty going down.

So, yeah, nothing fancy in this review.  It’s a tasty donut to try if you’re in there, and don’t forget that you get a free donut on Friday the 6th at Dunkin’ with a beverage purchase.

Found at: Clifton Park Dunkin’ Donuts, just north of the Rexford Bridge…the Dunkin’ that screws up traffic all the time, or more correctly, the Dunkin’ where people sit and wait to turn and screw up traffic all the time.
